Swirly Cake

I tried something different today, it's kind of like a marble cake but I've piped the cake mix into the tin differently.

I like how the swirls turned out on the top and the marble effect inside, but for my next attempt I will try to achieve a stripey effect inside and try to reduce the cracking on top.

It tasted good though, that's the most important thing! :)

  1. I love the swirly design. Would like to see how the stripey turns out. Did you have two piping bags, one with each sponge mix in?

    1. Yep, split the mix in two, made one chocolate and piped them in 'blobs' on top, one after the other! I'll try the other version soon i think :)
